The Story: With its watery blue monochromatic palette and ethereal background, “Would We Meet in a Parallel Universe” evokes a sense of fluidity and otherworldliness. This work is made from paper, which was painted with a loose organic pattern to evoke a connection to nature. The painted paper was cut into smaller pieces, rearranged, and then collaged onto a wood panel. Strong bands of darker color run vertically and horizontally, creating pathways through the piece. High-gloss resin is the finishing touch, augmenting the work by creating a heightened sense of dimensionality and vibrance. And as a special surprise, when the viewer gets closer to the work, they will be rewarded with the discovery of a subtle sparkle (created with mica) throughout the piece, further adding to its texture and atmospheric mood.

$1975

**Difficult to capture in a photo: The face of the piece is smooth and glossy.
